Sound Quality: Good To Very Good Audience
CD2:
Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles June 9, 1972
Sound Quality: Good Audience
Comments: The bar is set high for VGP, because when they are
not trying to get 6 releases a month out before the current
interest in touring Stones wears-off, they are capable of
putting out exceptional product. This is particularly true of
properly setting the tape EQ on old audience recordings of this band.
I've been waiting some time for the VGP Essen 1970 effort because
no-one has got it right, but VGP does in this case as they are capable
of doing. Now VGP is starting with the remastered source for LA 1972,
but it's got that extra bit clarity and balance not found elsewhere.
